About Our Faculty: Ranajoy Ghosh
Ranajoy's (Ron) fascination with the idea of the impossible, things that do not happen in our everyday life - like a man flying in a metal suit or cars transforming into giant bots led him to explore and learn how all of this was brought to life.
After earning his degree and thereafter pursuing an animation course, Ron worked at Cinemad, a post-production studio in Kolkata. His yearning to still learn more brought him to FX School where he earned his Diploma in Visual Effects.
Ron has been a VFX instructor for 5 years and now as Head of Department of Visual Effects and also a Motion Design instructor at FX School, he combines his Visual Effects and Design skills to elevate students' perspectives and capabilities in order to help them tell a more powerful story.
Ron has found that helping others pushes him to learn more about the things he has always been fascinated with, and gives him an immeasurable sense of satisfaction.
